Kennedy Berkley Attorneys at Law announced that Matt Odom has joined the firm’s Hays office, strengthening the firm’s domestic relations and family law services for individuals and families across Hays and surrounding western Kansas communities.
Odom’s practice focuses on family law and domestic relations, including matters such as divorce, child custody, parenting time, support, and related family issues. Known for his steady and compassionate approach, Odom brings a service-minded background and a commitment to helping clients navigate emotionally complex legal matters with clarity and care.
Odom is a Hays High School graduate who then joined the United States Army after graduation. He earned his undergraduate degree from Fort Hays State University and later attended the University of Kansas School of Law. In 2019, Odom made the intentional decision to return to Hays, drawn by the strength of the community and the opportunity to serve families in a region where access to domestic relations attorneys can be limited.
Before joining Kennedy Berkley, Odom worked with Kansas Legal Services, where he advocated for individuals and families with a focus on practical solutions and meaningful support.
