ELLIS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8p.m. Monday in Ellis County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Chevy Cobalt driven by Carson Johnston, 19, Hesston, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just east of Toulon Avenue. The car traveled off the road into the south ditch and rolled onto the driver's side.
EMS transported Johnston to Hays Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
