KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State Men's Basketball moved back into the receiving votes list in the latest NABC Top 25 Poll, released on Tuesday (Feb. 18). This is the seventh poll the Tigers have been among the receiving votes list this season. FHSU is 17-8 overall for the season.
The Tigers are one of four teams from the MIAA referenced in the poll. Washburn remained No. 3 for a second-straight week after a long stint at No. 1 before taking its first loss of the season. Central Missouri moved into the Top 25 this week at No. 25. Missouri Western joins FHSU in the receiving votes list. Arkansas-Fort Smith dropped out of the Top 25 and did not receive votes this week.
Fort Hays State goes on the road to Missouri Southern and Pittsburg State this week, looking to improve in the MIAA standings. The Tigers are currently in sixth, but just a half game behind fourth and 1.5 games back of third. Missouri Southern and Pittsburg State are both right behind FHSU, each a half-game back of sixth.
