Alice Ann Horacek, 81, Alexander, Kansas, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021, at her home.

Alice was born September 12, 1939, in Saline County, Kansas.&nbsp; She was a resident of Alexander, Kansas, for about 20 years, moving from Salina, Kansas.&nbsp; Alice was a graduate from Salina High School, Salina, Kansas.&nbsp; She was a homemaker, who had many skills that helped her family and those in her community.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Alexander, Kansas.

Alice loved to sew, and paint.&nbsp; She also enjoyed baking cakes for people.&nbsp; Her family recalls how she could do just about anything she put her mind to.

She married Richard Shelton.&nbsp; He preceded her in death in 1993.&nbsp; She then married James “Jim” Horacek.&nbsp; He preceded her in death November, 2000.

Survivors include:&nbsp; one grandson, Brandon Shelton; one granddaughter, Angel Shelton, and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; and one son, Ralph Shelton.
