PARKER, Colo. – Leo Jiminian hit a three-run homer to highlight a six-run sixth inning and lead the Hays Larks to a 12-7 win over the GameDay Saints Friday at Double Angel Ballpark. The Larks (4-0, 1-0 RMBL) scored five in the top of the first but had to rally after the Saints scored a run in the second and five in the third.

Only two of the Saints runs were earned due to seven Larks errors, four of which were committed in the Saints five-run third.

Fort Hays State’s Grant Schmidt went 4-for-5 and drove in two.

Wyatt Divis (2-0) allowed six runs (one earned) on seven hits with four strikeouts and no walks for the win. Jackson Blue pitched four innings of relief and allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits with six strikeouts and five walks.

The Larks continue their Colorado road swing Saturday against the Colorado Sox.
