🏈 Tigers continue to receive votes in AFCA poll

WACO, Texas – Fort Hays State Football is receiving votes in the AFCA Top 25 Poll for a second straight week, referenced in the latest edition on Monday. The 7-2 (6-2 MIAA) Tigers head to Warrensburg, Missouri this week to face No. 11 ranked Central Missouri, which enters this week at both 8-1 (8-1 MIAA).Fort Hays State was the second team listed among the receiving votes section with 30 votes, only behind West Florida with 33. The Tigers were 13 votes shy of the Top 25 as No. 25 ranked Mars Hill has 43 votes this week.

The MIAA has three schools in the Top 25 this week with Missouri Western (7-2, 6-2 MIAA) moving into the Top 25. The Griffons are ranked No. 23 this week. Pittsburg State (9-0, 8-0 MIAA) remains No. 2 in the Top 25, while Central Missouri moved up four spots this week to from No. 15 to No. 11. Two matchups in the MIAA this week feature all four of its teams referenced in the poll with Pittsburg State playing at Missouri Western and Fort Hays State playing at Central Missouri.
