EDWARDS COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 8:30a.m. Saturday in Edward County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Buick Century driven by Thierry F. Felkins, 61, Offerle, was westbound in the 200 Block of L Road.
The car left the roadway, traveled in the south ditch for approximately 340 feet, crossed a fence line, continued into a field and struck an embankment.
EMS transported Felkins and a passenger Lemro F. Felkins, 87, Offerle, to the Edwards County Hospital. The were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
