Robert E. 'Bob' O’Dea

Robert E. “Bob” O’Dea, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at his home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on July 15, 1960, in Smyrna, Tennessee, the son of Patrick Bernard & Alice June Gerver O’Dea.  Bob worked for Ecolab for 25 years and is currently for KDOT.

He was a member of the Community Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas.

On November 26, 1983, he married Brenda Kay Greenlee in McCook, Nebraska.  She survives.

Survivors include his Wife - Brenda O’Dea of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - Mikayla & Brian Wiechman of Scott City, Kansas, Two Sons - Mitchell & Caitlin O’Dea of Scott City, Kansas, Jared & Cozetta O’Dea of Scott City, Kansas, Mother - Alice O’Dea of Scott City, Kansas, Two Brothers - Mike O’Dea of North Dakota, Scott & Michelle O’Dea of Lincoln, Nebraska, Two Sisters - Voleta Karel & Leigh Dugdale of North Platte, Nebraska, Betty & Jan Cummins of Olathe, Kansas, Seven Grandchildren - Brooklyn Wiechman, Ryker Wiechman, Shannon O’Dea, Liam O’Dea, Ember O’Dea, Zoey O’Dea, and Arrabella O’Dea, Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Two Aunts.

He was preceded in death by his Father.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 20, 2021, at the Community Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas with Rev. Scott Wagner presiding.

Memorials in Lieu of Flowers may be made to the Community Christian Church in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 553, Scott City, Kansas, 67871.

Inurnment will be in the Indianola Cemetery in Red Willow County, Nebraska at a later date.
