Former Kanorado, KS resident Carol Sue Archer, 75, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020, at the Long Term Care Center in Quinter, KS.

Carol was born on April 20, 1945, in Goodland, KS to Everett and Alberta (Macho) Archer.  She was one of two children.  She attended school at Kanorado High School in graduated in 1963.  She then went on and attended college at Fort Hays State University earning her degree in Bookkeeping.

She worked as a bookkeeper for many years at the grain elevator in Kanorado and in Goodland.  She had two daughters Laura and Debra.

Carol loved to read, loved music and dancing around the kitchen. She had an amazing smile and laugh and was a very sweet person to everyone she met.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother Norman Archer.

She is survived by her two daughters; Laura (Curt) Blickenstaff of Lenexa, KS and Debra (Levi) Turner of Iola, KS.  She is also survived by three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at 3:00 PM MT at the Kanorado Cemetery in Kanorado, KS with Pastor Zach Anderson officiating.

Memorial contributions may be designated to the Kanorado Senior Citizen’s Center and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.
