TREGO COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 12:30a.m. Saturday in Trego County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Kia driven by Taylor Fae Knutter, 22, Orrick, Missouri, was westbound on Interstate 70 just east of 380 Avenue in the driving lane.
The Kia rear-ended a 2013 Ford Mustang towed by a 2007 GMC Yukon driven by Jorge Arturo Barrios Persona, 35, Denver.
EMS transported Knutter and a passenger Dayton Page McFee, 24, Richmond, Missouri, to Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital.
Barrios Persona and passengers in the Yukon were not injured. The KHP had incomplete seat belt usage information.
