Louis A. “Louie” Dellett III, 63, Rush Center, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at his home.
Louie was born October 18, 1957, in La Crosse, Kansas, the son of Louis A. Dellett Jr. and Crystal J. (Alger) Dellett. He was a lifelong resident of Rush County, Kansas. A 1975 graduate of Pawnee Heights High School, Rozel, Kansas, he was a farmer.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, and football. He was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan.
On January 14, 1989, he married Ruth Dreiling. They divorced.
Survivors include: his daughters, Kylee Winter (Dalton), Haven, Kansas, Tara Jennings, La Crosse, Kansas, and Erica Basgall (Lonnie), Hutchinson, Kansas; 10 grandchildren, Tyler, Haley, Natalie, Addison, Ashlie, Cade, Hendrix, Indi, Domonic, and Taelyn; one great grandchild, Landon; and two nieces, Tammy Chism, Great Bend, Kansas, and Tara Mangroo, Great Bend, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Betty Adair.
Memorial service will be Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 10:30 A.M. at the Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse, Kansas, with Pastor Terry Warner officiating. Inurnment will be in La Crosse City Cemetery, La Crosse, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests memorials to the Louis A. Dellett, III Memorial Fund.
