WILMINGTON, Del. – Fort Hays State is receiving votes in the latest edition of the D2CSC Top 25 Poll, released on Tuesday (Nov. 21). The Tigers were ranked No. 16 in the previous poll after a 2-0 start to the season, but a loss at now nationally ranked MSU Denver this past Sunday slid the Tigers back into the receiving votes section. The D2CSC poll is voted on by a panel of Athletic Communications professionals nationwide.
This is the second regular season release of the D2CSC Poll. For MIAA schools, Central Oklahoma held steady at No. 3 in the poll, while Emporia State is the only other MIAA school in the Top 25 at No. 23. FHSU is among just five teams in the receiving votes section. Fort Hays State is unranked at this time in the latest NABC Top 25 Poll, even though it received votes in the preseason poll.
MSU Denver went from unranked to No. 18 in the D2CSC Poll. The Roadrunners are No. 15 in the latest NABC Top 25 Poll. They defeated a pair of Top 25 teams last week, which included Fort Hays State and West Texas A&M.
