The Hays High softball team will be the No. 7 seed in 5A West and open with 10-seed Andover (15-11) in regional play Wednesday at the Two Rivers Youth Club in Wichita.
The winner will advance to face either 2-seed Bishop Carroll or 15-seed Topeka West in the regional finals later that day.
