The TMP-Marian boys golf team finished eighth as a team at Sugar Hills Golf Club in Goodland Tuesday, in their first tournament of the season.
The Monarchs were led by Heuer Brungardt, finishing in a tie for sixth with a 15-over 86.
He was nine shots back of the winner Eli Jones from Norton who fired a six-over 77.
Ellis’ Austin Carroll also turned in a sixth-place finish at 86.
The Monarchs finished with a team score of 399.
Goodland won the team title with a total of 345. Followed by Colby (358) and Norton (362)
Ellis was sixth with a team total of 396.
Griffin Schumacher was T41st (101), Evan Balthazor finished T49th (105), Eli Stein finished T60th (107), Peyton Schwartz was T75th (112) and Henry Meitner placed 96th (127).
