The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Friday reported just one new case of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County since Wednesday.

As of Friday, the University of Kansas Health System reported three COVID-19 inpatients at HaysMed, with one active and two in the recovery phase.
Since reporting began, there have been 3,734 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 72 coronavirus-related deaths — the last of which was reported on March 10.
NOTE: KDHE revised the death total Friday, lowering the figure by one.
