THOMAS COUNTY –One person was injured in an accident just after noon Tuesday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Toyota Tundra driven by Ronald L. Furrow, 75, Aurora, Colorado, was westbound along interstate 70 just east of the Brewster exit
The pickup traveled over an icy patch of asphalt, left the roadway to the south, entered the median, struck the guardrail, rolled and came to rest on its wheels between the eastbound driving lanes of interstate 70 and the exit ramp 36 for Brewster.
EMS transported a passenger Barbara Furrow, 70, Aurora, to Citizen's Medical Center. Ronald Furrow was not wearing a seat belt and not injured, according to the KHP.
