THOMAS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 10p.m. Tuesday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 15-year-old Cheyenne M. Morris of Brewster was eastbound on U.S. 24 just south of County Road R and County Road 11.
An oncoming vehicle flashed their bright lights, blinding the driver. This caused Morris to veer the Jeep right. She then overcorrected to the left and then overcorrected to the right causing Jeep roll 3 times into a gravel lot.
EMS transported Morris to Citizen's Medical Center. She was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
