THOMAS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Thursday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Ford F150 driven by Scotty Francis Zeller, 57, Colby, was southbound on County road 22, approaching County road R. The Ford pickup struck an eastbound 2005 Chevy Silverado in the middle of the intersection.
EMS transported Zeller to Citizens Medical Center in Colby. The Silverado driver Hayden Scott Petty, 32, Freedom, Oklahoma, was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
