Agnes Arlene Lewis, 82, of Colby, was called home on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Citizens Medical Center.
She was born May 30, 1938, in Sheridan County to Albert and Ella (Hesterberg) Detjen. On August 24, 1963, Agnes married Larry Lewis and to this union, two children were born. When the kids were young, Agnes ran a daycare and did ironing for people. Over the years, she also worked as a bank teller at several banks. Agnes enjoyed making
ceramics, going to garage sales and cheering on the Denver Broncos and
KU Jayhawks. She volunteered every Wednesday as a Pink Lady at the
hospital. However, her favorite pastime was tending to her huge garden.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; husband Larry and sisters Arleta Detjen and Elta Rall.

Colby and grandsons, Kaden Staab (fiancée Callie) and Kyler Staab. She
