🎾 Tigers fall 6-1 at UCO

EDMOND, Okla. – Fort Hays State Tennis fell by a score of 6-1 at Central Oklahoma on Friday evening. The Bronchos moved to 5-5 overall on the season and 1-1 in the MIAA, while FHSU moved to 6-7 overall and 0-3 in the MIAA.

The Bronchos swept all three doubles matches contested, yielding only two points. UCO won the No. 1 contest 6-0 and won the No. 2 and No. 3 matches 6-1.

Grace Unruh was the only Tiger to record a win, taking the No. 6 singles match 6-4, 7-5. The Bronchos won the other five singles matches in straight sets. Fiorella Mendez scored five points in her No. 5 match, falling 6-3, 6-2. Ines Latorre (No. 4) scored all three of her points won in the first set. Irina Alfonso (No. 2) generated two points. Shreethika Vangala (No. 1) and Yone Pereiro (No. 3) each won one point in their matches.
