Logan resident Kathy “Kate” White passed away Friday, July 30, 2021, at the Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney, NE at the age of 67.
She was born May 6, 1954, in Concordia, KS the daughter of Laverne and Suzy (Motes) Monty. She worked as the social and activities director for the Logan Manor in Logan, Kansas.
She was united in marriage to Rodney White on August 18, 1972 in Beloit, Kansas. He survives.
Other survivors include her sons J.R. and wife Michelle of Grove, OK and Phillip of Sigurd, UT; four grandchildren; two brothers Arnold Williams and wife Bonnie of Logan and Doug Monty and wife Dee of Beloit; and a half sister Mary JoAnn Ertl and husband Loren of Hope, KS.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the Logan Christian Church with Pastor Troy Buss officiating. The funeral services will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Logan.
Kate will lie in state from noon until 9 p.m. Monday at the Logan Funeral Home, Logan.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan E.M.S. or the Kansas Heart Hospital.
