SHERMAN COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 10p.m. Saturday in Sherman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Mazda CX-5 driven by Jhoanielie Felizardo, 28, Kansas City, Mo., was westbound on Interstate 70 six miles east of Goodland.
The driver fell asleep. The SUV traveled off the road and rolled.
EMS transported Felizardo and a passenger Rau Francisco-Gonzalez, 28,Kansas City, Mo., to the hospital in Goodland, They were properly restrained a the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
