TREGO COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 1:30p.m. Monday in Trego County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Ford F250 driven by Gary L. Lewman, 85, Limon, Colorado, was westbound on Interstate 70 approximately one mile west of the Ogallah exit. The pickup rear-ended a 2011 Can-Am Spyder driven by Robert A. Herrman, 76, Utica. Both vehicles came to a stop in the passing lane.
EMS transported Herrman to Kearney Regional Medical Center. Lewman was not injured. Herrman was wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
