The Ellis County Health Department on Monday reported 112 new cases of COVID-19 in the county has been identified since Friday.
There are now 223 active cases, including four active hospitalizations, with 418 recovered cases.
The seven-day average of percent of positive tests was just less than 17 percent. Overall, 13 percent of the 4,929 test results returned positive for COVID-19.
Since reporting began, Ellis County has identified 642 total cases of coronavirus, including one death.
The department updates figures Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with Monday's report showing the largest increase between reports.
