HAYS – I took a week and-a-half, but the Hays High girls’ soccer team completed the season sweep of Liberal with a 6-0 victory Monday at Hays High School. It was the completion from April 24 when the match was suspended due to weather and HHS leading 3-0.
Kinslee Newell scored three goals, Karlee Crispin, Annie Humphrey and Dani Willeford all score once with Crispin recording four assists.
The Indians have won two straight, both shutouts and are now 7-6 overall and 4-2 in WAC play. They host Dodge City Thursday.
