Jackie Joe Klee, 69, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.&nbsp; He was born August 22, 1951, in Hays to Joseph Henry Klee and Jacqueline Joan (Ryan) Klee. He graduated from Hays High School and grew to manhood in Hays. He attended Kansas University in Lawrence and later earned a degree in computer science from Fort Hays State University.

Due to his father’s work, he lived in Columbia, South Carolina and Aurora, Colorado.&nbsp; He returned to South Carlona and lived at Myrtle Beach until his father’s death in 2004.&nbsp; At that time his parents were at home in Hays and he made that his residence for the rest of his life.

Survivors include his Aunt Addie Mills of McCracken and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Pat and Louise Klee, Jack and Helen Ryan; Uncles; Francis (Katy) Klee, Maurice (Cellie) Klee, and Raymond Mills; aunts; Patty (Norman)Klee-Brock; Caroline Klee Davis-House; Donald Davis and Robert House; cousins Donna Davis Schuckman and Joy Mills Zimmerman-Gifford.

Due to COVID-19, there will be no funeral services.&nbsp; Memorials are suggested to Centennial Towers in Hays, Kansas.
