Larry “Stretch” Dyson died January 22, 2022, in Hoxie, Kansas. Born
January 2, 1936, at Concordia, Kansas, he was the firstborn child of
Harold Dyson and Nellie Wilson Dyson. The family relocated to Oak
Grove, Missouri, when Larry was 8 years old, and he graduated from
Mayview High School in 1953. He enlisted in the United States Air Force
and served in the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a
brother, Leroy Dyson. He is survived by three sisters, Connie Stoffle,
Holt, MO; Brenda Oliver, Odessa, MO; Marguerite Myers, Blue Springs, MO
and one brother, Roger Dyson, Odessa, MO.
A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
