EMPORIA - Hays High’s Kinley Pfannenstiel scored a 94 in the
final round of the 5A state tournament in Emporia and placed 33rd with a 192. Pfannenstiel shot a 98 in her opening round Monday to advance to the second day.

Ava Erbert shot a 94 on day one but struggled with a 105 in the second round for a two-day total of 199 and
tied for 38th place.

Andover’s Regan Dusenbery won the individual title
with rounds of 68 and 71 and finished three shots better than Kapaun Mt. Carmel’s
Zimena Sarinana. Kapaun easily won the team title, outdistancing 48 strokes.
