THOMAS COUNTY—On. person was injured in an accident just before 3p.m. Saturday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Kenworth semi driven by James F. Self, 48, Ada, Oklahoma, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just east of the County Road K exit during a storm with strong winds
The driver lost control of the vehicle. The semi traveled into the median then overturned onto its driver side.
EMS transported Self to Citizens Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
