Robert Ryan Svoboda was born June 22, 1970 in Sioux City, Iowa to Al and
 Barbara (Rosemeyer) Svoboda. He passed away on January 28, 2021 in 
Oberlin, KS at the age of 50 after one week of COVID with underlying 
health conditions.
 Robert grew up in Sioux City. He married Shirly Rowell on June 23, 
1991 on the Queen Mary ship in California. He enjoyed playing games on 
his phone, work with his hands in the tile and construction industry.
 He is survived by wife Shirly Svoboda of Oberlin, KS; son, Anthony 
Svoboda of Oberlin, KS; sister, Michelle Strong of Lincoln, NE and Lori 
Hackney of Harris, IA; mother, Barbara Rosemeyer of Sioux City, IA; 
several nieces and nephews and his dogs Princeton and Rebel. He was 
preceded in death by father, Alfred Svoboda; stepfather, Rod Rosemeyer; 
brother, Tony Boltz; mother-in-law, Liz Rowell; and an uncle and all 
grandparents.
 Now pain free and at peace. Always in our hearts and prayers, forever missed.
