The TMP-Marian boys continue to hold down the No. 2 spots in Class 2A in the weekly Kansas Basketball Coaches Association rankings out Tuesday afternoon. Previous No. 1 Wichita Independent slipped to fourth. They are replaced at the top by Lyndon who jumped from fourth to first. Ellinwood dropped from third to fifth.
Three Mid-Continent girls teams remain ranked. Phillipsburg is No. 2 in 3A, Smith Center fifth and Hoxie seventh in 2A, all unchanged from a week ago.
The Osborne girls remain second and Quinter fifth in 1A Division I.
The Osborne boys are eighth in 1A Division I. Northern Valley is second and Pawnee Heights is ranked fifth in 1A Division II.
Two Western Athletic Conference teams are ranked again this week. The Liberal girls are eighth and the Garden City boys fourth in Class 6A.
