Fort Hays State Men's Basketball is receiving votes in the latest NABC and D2SIDA Top 25 Polls released on Tuesday (Jan. 11). The Tigers held the No. 22 ranking in the D2SIDA poll last week, but slipped back to the list of teams receiving votes. They have received votes in five-straight NABC polls going back to December 7.

The Tigers have an opportunity to make their case for jumping back into the Top 25 this week when they play host to No. 2 ranked Northwest Missouri State. The Bearcats are No. 2 in both polls again this week, only topped by undefeated Lubbock Christian. Northwest Missouri State started the season No. 1 in both polls and has been in the top five of the rankings in all polls this season. Northwest Missouri's only loss occurred in its second game of the season on a neutral floor to Sioux Falls. On Saturday, the Tigers will travel to Missouri Western.

New to the top 25 of both polls this week from the MIAA is Central Oklahoma. The Bronchos are 13-2 overall and 8-1 in the MIAA and were the only team to defeat FHSU in Hays so far this season. UCO is No. 22 in the NABC poll and No. 24 in the D2SIDA poll.
