
ELLIS COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 4:30p.m. Friday in Ellis County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1995 Ford F150 driven by Ashley S. Rincon, 17, Wichita, westbound on Munjor Road and stopped at the stop sign at U.S. 183.
The pickup entered the intersection and a 2012 Ford F150 driven by Harley B. Zimmerman, 15, Hays, struck the 1995 Ford on the passenger side.
EMS transported Rincon and a passenger Wyatt L. Galvan, 16, Hays, to Hays Medical Center. Zimmerman and a second passenger in the 1995 Ford were not injured. Rincon and Galvan were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.

Two pickup trucks collided at about 4:40 p.m. Friday south of Mt. Pleasant Road on U.S. Highway 183 south of Hays.
At least one person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
It was unknown at the time of this posting if anyone else was injured in the accident.

Two trucks collided, with the northbound vehicle flipping onto its side. One truck was pulling a livestock trailer with at least one horse on board. It was unclear if the animal was injured.
Traffic on U.S. Highway 183 was temporarily restricted while the accident was being cleared.
