The Hays High girls’ golf team pushed through to day two of the 5A State Tournament at Carey Park in Hutchinson. The Indians are tied for second with Bishop Carroll, 18 strokes behind Kapaun Mt. Carmel.
Evyn Cox leads the Indians at 12-over and is tied for 7th. Abbie Norris is tied for 11th at 14-over.
TMP-Marian’s Ashley Hipp advanced to day two at 3-1A in Hesston. Hipp is in 10th place at 17-over.
Final round action begins at 10 this morning at all sites.
