The Ellis County Board of Health will meet later this week to discuss the governor's order on Monday requiring facemasks in public spaces beginning Friday.
According to sources, the meeting will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
"Guidance will be released from the Ellis County Health Department via press release to the residents and visitors of Ellis County following that meeting," the health department said in a news release early Tuesday evening.
