KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Fort Hays State women's basketball graduate student Olivia Hollenbeck has been named the latest MIAA Athlete of the Week, announced Monday by the league office. This is the second time Hollenbeck has earned the award after also doing so during the first week of the season.

Hollenbeck averaged 24.5 points in a pair of home wins last week, helping Fort Hays State reach the 20-win plateau for a 14th-consecutive season. The Lincoln, Neb. native hit an eye-popping 76.0 percent from the floor (19-of-25) while adding 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.5 blocks and 2.0 steals per game.

A four-time All-MIAA selection, Hollenbeck opened the week with 22 points on 10-of-13 shooting against Northeastern State before adding 27 points on 9-of-12 shooting alongside four blocks and three steals against Arkansas-Fort Smith.

FHSU's streak of 20-win seasons is the longest in Division II and is the sixth-longest across all NCAA divisions. The next best active stretch in the MIAA is three.

Hollenbeck is one of three women's basketball players in the MIAA to earn the award multiple times this season.

Fort Hays State will return to action Wednesday when the Tigers take on Emporia State in Emporia, Kan. beginning at 5:30 p.m.
