More than 300 people attended the second annual Tardeada Festival on Saturday in Hays.
The event, which was sponsored by United Way of Ellis County, was aimed at celebrating Hispanic culture and providing information on community services to Spanish-speaking residents.
Immaculate Heart of Mary's matachine dancers performed.
In addition to the dancers and information booths, Hispanic foods were served, children burst pinatas and a community dance was held.
