Frank R. 'Butch' Sebesta

Frank R. "Butch" Sebesta, went home to the Lord Jesus on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Frank was born July 27, 1946 and was 75 years old. He married Dorothy Hail of Salina on June 8, 1996 at First Foursquare Church, Salina, KS.

Born and raised in Wilson, Kansas, Frank was a graduate of Wilson High School. For many years, the family farm was the way of life for him and his siblings. Frank enlisted in the United States Air Force and served four years. He was a former Kansas Highway Patrolman, and private investigator. Frank served as office manager at The Ashby House Shelter for 12 years before retiring.

Frank had a tremendous love for the Lord and was a dedicated member of Higher Praise Church. He was an active in the church community.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Alberta Sebesta. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Sebesta, daughter Roxanne Matous and son, Mark Neal all of Salina. Also, by two grandchildren, Jason Matous of Firestone, Colorado and Kelsey Hitchcock of Solomon, KS. and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life memorial service for Frank R. Sebesta will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021 at Higher Praise Church, 1220 Greeley Ave. Salina, KS. Graveside service will be held immediately following the service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Salina.
