RUSSELL COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 2p.m. Thursday in Russell County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2025 Freightliner semi driven by Anthony Loren King, 73, Winston Salem, North Carolina, was eastbound on Interstate 70 one mile west of U.S.. 281. The vehicle entered the median, crossed it, then rolled to the drivers side after getting onto the westbound lanes.
EMS transported King to the Russell Regional Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
