Rose Marie Quinones, 85, died Monday, June 17, 2024 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born May 17, 1939, in Manzanola, Colorado the daughter of John Baca & Emma Valdez.
Grandma Rose was gambler 101! She loved bingo and casinos. She was witty and straight forward. We definitely knew how she felt. She was always giving a helping hand. Grandma Rose loved spending time with her family, and she will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her children- Jodi & Valentin Castillo, Elizabeth Bustamante, James & Kelly Muniz, Michael Enriquez and Denise & Juan Cruz; 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren & 5 great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband-Jose Quinones, great-grandson- Dominic Torres, sister- Maria Espinoza and her children- Victor Salas & Dennis Enriquez.
A Rosary will be held at 11:30 a.m. with Funeral Mass following at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024, both at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City with Rev. Louis Trang officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.
