Donald “Don” Weber, age 81, of Victoria, Kansas died Monday, March 14, 2022, at the Topside Manor Care Center in Goodland, Kansas.
He was born September 15, 1940, in Hays, Kansas, to Raymond and Katherine (Kappel) Weber.
He was a common laborer working in construction and brick laying. He grew up and attended school in Victoria, and moved to the Goodland three years ago. He was a member of the Basilica of St. Fidelis. Don enjoyed fishing and constructing yard art.
Survivors include his daughter, Donna Hashenberger and husband, Ron, Hays, KS; his grandchildren, Kimberly Weber, Jessica Gibson, Erica Gibson, all of Hays, KS; his great grandchild, Alexander Warden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his former wife, Genevieve (Gerhardt); his brother, Robert Weber; his sisters, Rose Weber and Theresa Weber; his infant brother, Daniel; and his infant sisters, Elizabeth and Dolores.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 19, 2022, at The Basilica of St. Fidelis, Victoria, Kansas with Father James Moster O.F.M. Cap. officiating. Burial will be in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Saturday, at The Basilica of St.
Fidelis. Memorial at suggested to St. Fidelis Cemetery in care of Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.
