NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The queen of country glamour Carrie Underwood brought the bling to the CMA Fest as she introduced her latest record, “Denim & Rhinestones.”
Underwood timed the new album to drop during the major country festival and delivered multiple performances from a fan club party, the Grand Ole Opry and headlining Saturday night's stadium set.
Underwood, fresh off a Las Vegas residency, will head out on tour in the fall and she said that her goal was to maximize the entertainment value in her stage shows.
Underwood's ninth studio album is a return to her country pop form with elements of '80s synth and rock.
