LOGAN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Friday in Logan County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer driven by Clayton A. Brommer, 57, Wichita, pulled out onto U.S. 83 at West 8th Street and struck a northbound 2000 Buick Park Avenue driven by James W. Woodall, 71, Oakley, in the right rear quarter panel.
After impact the SUV struck an REA pole, backed up and left the scene.
EMS transported Woodall to the Logan County Hospital. Brommer was not injured. His SUV did not have valid registration and he was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
