GOVE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 10:30p.m. Sunday in Gove County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Ford Explorer driven by Brigham A. Press, 15, Quinter, was westbound on County Road Z at County Road 66 three miles West of Quinter. The driver lost control on the rain damaged road. The SUV entered the south ditch. Driver 1 came back onto the road and rolled.
EMS transported Press to Gove County Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
