Hays Medical Center today announced the end to visitor restrictions due to COVID.
However, face coverings will still be required for visitors and staff.
"Exactly 2 years to the day since we admitted our first COVID patient we are pleased to announce that our visitor policies will return to pre-COVID guidelines," the hospital announced via facebook. "Masks are still required while you are in any of our facilities and we encourage social distancing."
They also announced COVID patient count updates would end.
"We will no longer provide a daily or monthly update on COVID patients as the numbers have reduced to near zero," the hospital said. "We will continue to monitor COVID developments and should the situation change we will resume regular reporting.Thank you for all your past and continued support of HaysMed."
