The Kansas State High School Activities Association released the state baseball and softball brackets Thursday, and both Thomas More Prep-Marian teams will open play in Salina on Monday.
The TMP baseball team is the No. 1 seed at the 2-1A state baseball tournament and will open against No. 8 seed Humboldt at 5:45 p.m. Monday at Dean Evans Stadium in Salina.
The winner advances to the semifinals on Wednesday at 11 a.m. against the winner of the No. 4-versus-No. 5 matchup between Rossville and Marmaton Valley.
The semifinals and finals are scheduled to be played in Lawrence at Hoglund Ballpark.
However, if the University of Kansas baseball hosts an NCAA regional, the games will be moved to Tointon Family Stadium in Manhattan.
The bottom side of the bracket features No. 2 Spearville against No. 7 St. Mary's Colgan and No. 3 Frankfort against No. 6 Southern Lyon County.

TMP softball also begins play on Monday in Salina. The Monarchs are the No. 3 seed and will open the state tournament against No. 6 Uniontown at 3 p.m. Monday at Salina South High School.
The winner will face the winner of the No. 2 Mission Valley vs. No. 7 Rossville game.
Top-seeded Dexter /Cedar Vale will face No. 8 Central Heights. The winner will play either No. 4 Inman or No. 5 St. Mary's Colgan.
The 2-1A softball semifinals and finals will be played at Arrocha Ballpark.

The Russell/Victoria baseball boys are the No. 4 seed in Class 3A and will play Colby at 1:15 p.m. Monday at Dean Evans Stadium in Salina.
