Members of the Wonder Women League made more than 70 valentines by hand to distribute to residents of Brookdale Senior Living and Homestead of Hays on Monday.

Members of the league wrote personal notes to the residents on the back of the cards.

The league also bought cookies for the care homes' staff members.
