The goal of this program is to get young people interested and educated on what it means to vote, what makes a good candidate, and what to look for in a candidate. Elected Officials from the City of Hays, Ellis County, and across the State of Kansas have been invited to come and participate.
Confirmed attendees include: Senator Roger Marshall, County Commission Chair Nathan Leiker, County Commissioners Neal Younger and Michael Berges, Ellis County Sherriff Scott Braun and Ellis County Clerk Bobbi Dreiling, Hays Mayor Shaun Musil, Hays Vice-Mayor Sandy Jacobs, City Commissioner Mason Ruder, and USD 489 Board Members Ruth Ruder and Megan Lillpopp.
The event will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Thomas More Prep-Marian High School Auditorium.
