Louise Feldt

Louise Feldt, 88, died Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Presbyterian Manor of the Plains, Dodge City, Kansas.

She was born August 26, 1932, at Park, Kansas, the daughter of Michael Edmund and Catherine Irene (Depperschmidt) Goetz.  She was a graduate of Park High School and on May 15, 1951, she married Norbert Feldt at Sacred Heart Church in Park and moved to Dodge City in 1973.

She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Miss Kitty’s Quilters in Dodge City.

Survivors include: their 6 children, Kay Heier and husband Jim, Park, Leon Feldt and wife Kay, Dodge City, Richard “R.L.” Feldt and wife Renee, North Richland Hills, Texas, Norma Groth, Hutchinson, Lloyd Feldt and wife Katie, Monroe, Iowa and Janese Williams and husband Darin, Amarillo, Texas; daughter-in-law, Patrice Feldt, Dodge City; her brother, Vern Goetz, Dodge City; her sister, Twyla Logsdon, Hays; 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Norbert, on January 25, 2016, a son, D.J. Feldt, daughter-in-law, Kim Feldt, her sister and brother-in-law, Iona and Ron Selensky, brother-in-law John Logsdon, sister-in-law, Vivian Goetz and granddaughter, Sarah Moote.

Vigil service will be 7:00 pm Monday, December 21, 2020, at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.  Funeral service will be 10:00 am Tuesday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, with Fr. Wesley Schawe officiating. The service will be viewable via Facebook live at www.facebook.com/ziegler.chapel/. Burial will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Park, Kansas.  There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.  Friends may sign the register from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel.

The family suggests memorials to the Sacred Heart School Endowment Fund in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
