The Hays Welcome Center is hosting an official KC2026 FIFA World Cup Countdown Clock through Sunday.

There are several FIFA World Cup countdown clocks in the Kansas City area, while the clock that is in Hays is devoted to touring Kansas.

Visitors can track the time until matches begin on June 11. The public is welcome to visit the countdown clock and take photos at the Hays Welcome Center at 2700 Vine St. Fans are encouraged to use #KCCountdown and #WeAre2026 on social media.

The FIFA World Cup has three host countries in 2026: Canada, United States, and Mexico. Kansas City is one of 11 U.S. host cities, which include Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle.
